PRONACA has confirmed its commitment to the social, economic, and environmental well-being of Ecuador. As a leading entity in the food industry, it is with great pride that we promote initiatives and undertakings that exert a favorable influence on our communities, thereby contributing to the construction of a future replete with promise for all.
Pronaca and the parish Decentralized Autonomous Government (GAD) cooperate to promote health and well-being in Santo Domingo.
In an effort to enhance the quality of life of older adults in the community, the Luz de América Parish GAD inaugurated the Senior Citizens’ Club in March. This facility offers a range of recreational activities, including painting, games, and activities designed to promote the physical, nutritional, and emotional well-being of its members. Pronaca’s involvement in this initiative is characterized by the provision of educational sessions that focus on the principles of balanced nutrition and the appropriate portion sizes that are essential for a healthy diet. Furthermore, recreational activities such as dance therapy are incorporated to promote physical activity, enhance mood, and strengthen social bonds among participants.

The reforestation program in the Bucay canton is an initiative aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and community engagement.
The reforestation initiative was executed across multiple sectors within the Bucay Canton, thereby extending support to over a thousand families. Specifically, in the community of Matilde Esther, 50 sacks of fertilizer were allocated for the planting of 500 trees, while 100 sacks of fertilizer were allocated to the Bucay GAD for the recovery of green and sports spaces within the canton.

The Live well, live healthy community program, on the Coast
T-shirts were donated for the Golden Years Olympics, an event led by the Durán Municipality GAD that aims to promote spaces for the coexistence and inclusion of older adults in the Brisas de Santay Community. This initiative benefited 26 older adults in these cantons.

The event featured informative sessions on nutrition, exercise, and culinary practices in Puembo and Tomalón, located in the Highlands
Pronaca orgnized these sessions to promote a healthy lifestyle among the local communities. The event also included talks on balanced nutrition, ideal meals, and the importance of eggs in the morning meal. Additionally, attendees received guidance on physical activity and exercise routines suitable for home, with the aim of fostering a healthy lifestyle in children and adolescents. A gastronomic workshop was also held, offering healthy recipes that benefited more than 300 people from these two communities.
At Pronaca, we are committed to promoting programs and activities that have a positive impact on our communities.

Collectively, we are engaged in the process of forging a more promising future, replete with opportunity and optimism.
