Mr. Chef Competition by Mr. Chancho rewards university students

In an effort to fortify its ties with the academic community and the nation’s prospective culinary professionals, Mr. Chancho orchestrated the Mr. Chef competition. In this event, students in their final year of the gastronomy degree program at prominent training centers had the opportunity to delve deeper into the subject of pork protein, exploring its role in nutrition, genetics, quality, culinary techniques, and the consumption patterns of Ecuadorians.
In addition to the master lectures delivered by representatives of the brand, groups of students engaged in a gastronomic challenge that encouraged them to utilize their creativity and knowledge to prepare exquisite dishes using Mr. Chancho pork. The teams that demonstrated the highest level of proficiency in this endeavor were awarded prizes of notable distinction.
This initiative was designed to foster the development of new culinary experts and to encourage them to innovate by creating dishes that feature Ecuador’s renowned pork brand, Mr. Chancho.
