The initiative, entitled “Tsa’chila Bolon Inun” (Meeting of Tsa’chila Families), was a cooperative effort between PRONACA, the ESQUEL Foundation, and the Peripa commune. The objective of this initiative was to promote soccer as a means to enhance community values and foster social integration.

The project consisted of involving 29 women from the district, between the ages of 14 and 55, in sports through a series of technical training sessions and an integrative soccer tournament in which four teams participated: Kolega Napi (River of Snail), Lúkela Sonala (Lioness Women), Ka’ti Sonala (Palm Women), and Tsabo Sonala (Star Women).

A total of five matches were played in this context. The Ka’ti Sonala (Women of Palm) team emerged victorious, claiming the championship title. The event provided an opportunity for the participants to apply their skills, engage in healthy competition, and strengthen their camaraderie.
