Pronaca’s commitment to the circular economy stands out at the Tsáchila Economic Forum

February 27, 2024

The Tsáchila Economic Forum, an event organized by the Santo Domingo Chamber of Industries, held its third edition on June 13th. This iteration of the Forum was modeled after the “Davos Forum,” and its program was structured around three primary themes: clean or eco-sustainable energy, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, and food security.

The meeting was attended by more than 800 individuals, including businessmen, producers, and agricultural exporters. Pronaca played a prominent role with a presentation in the non-traditional products section and a demonstration stand, reaffirming its commitment to circular economy and sustainability. Homero Robalino, the manager of the fertilizer business, delivered a presentation on the company’s initiatives to valorize waste generated in livestock production, sludge from wastewater treatment plants, and other organic materials. He emphasized the pivotal role of innovation and responsible resource management in fostering sustainable agricultural development in Ecuador.
