February 27, 2024
The Government of the Tsa’chila Nationality, in cooperation with PRONACA, has administered two employability workshops aimed at young people belonging to this community. The objective of these workshops is to provide the participants with the tools and knowledge necessary for successful job placement.
The workshops, which were held on Thursday, April 25 at the Santo Domingo Chamber of Commerce, were attended by 60 young people of Tsa’chila nationality. These individuals were invited to attend through community leaders. Over the course of three hours, the participants had the opportunity to acquire key skills and competencies that are relevant to the contemporary job market.
The workshops centered on subjects such as the identification of personal brands, the effective composition of résumés, the preparation for job interviews, and the effective use of employment platforms. To ensure a comprehensive learning experience, practical activities, training content, and question-and-answer sessions were incorporated.
Mateo Calazacón, Governor of the Tsa’chila Nationality, emphasized the significance of these initiatives for the young people of his community, asserting that they furnish the requisite instruments for their labor integration in both public and private institutions.
Esteban Zambrano, the Regional Manager of PRONACA, emphasized the company’s commitment to local development by supporting this initiative with the Human Talent team as facilitators of the workshops.
These workshops have been designed to provide Tsa’chila youth with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully navigate the demands of the labor force. This endeavor is focused on enhancing the personal brand of the participants, as well as refining their professional competencies.
