Pronaca shares its circular economy model at the Tsáchila Business Convention

February 27, 2024

The third edition of the Tsáchila Business Convention, an event organized by the Chamber of Industries and the Prefecture of Santo Domingo in commemoration of 17 years of provincialization, was held at the Hotel Zaracay. The event convened more than 300 participants, including businessmen, entrepreneurs, students, and leaders of the public and private sectors.

Pronaca was represented by a presentation by Esteban Zambrano, Regional Manager of Santo Domingo. In his presentation, Zambrano shared Pronaca’s circular economy practices and their role as drivers of sustainable growth.

Two key pillars were identified: water circularity and the development of sustainable fertilizers. These initiatives are designed to optimize the revalorization of natural resources. These initiatives have not only consolidated the company’s leadership in sustainability, but also serve as a practical example of how companies can integrate responsible processes into their daily management. The objective is to encourage other entities in the productive sector to emulate these practices, thereby facilitating the transition towards a future that is both efficient and environmentally responsible.
